Prof Aleksandra Przegalińska is an Associate Professor at the Kozminski University, Poland. She is the head of the Artificial Intelligence and Management program.
Prof Przegalińska received her doctorate in the field of philosophy of Artificial Intelligence from the Department of Cultural Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy, University of Warsaw.
Until recently, she conducted research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. She graduated from The New School for Social Research in New York. In Autumn 2020 she will start research in AIER on work automation, and then in the Labour and Work life Program at Harvard.
She is interested in the development of new technologies, natural language processing, humanoid artificial intelligence, social robots, and dressing technologies. Prof Przegalińska is the author and co-author of several books and publications regarding AI. She is of the view that “We are currently in a very interesting and - in many ways - decisive moment when it comes to our future with tech. We need to decide how we would like to shape our future relations with new technologies in general, and with AI in particular”.
