The *High-Level Panel on Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (AI)* will take place virtually on
*24 November 2020* *(3 p.m. – 5.20 p.m, Paris time). *This High-Level
Panel will feature the opening by Ms Audrey Azoulay, Director-General
of UNESCO, a keynote speech delivered by Prof. Yoshua Bengio,
Scientific Director of the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms
(MILA), and two High-Level Panels representing governments, the
private sector, and civil society from different regions of the world. Teki Akuetteh
Falconer, will be joining one of the panel discussion.
This event will provide an opportunity to the public to follow
insightful exchanges from different professional and regional
perspectives on the latest developments in AI and their ethical
implications, and to find out about your work and UNESCO’s efforts to
elaborate the Recommendation on the Ethics of AI, the first ever
global normative instrument to promote ethical development and
application of this game-changing technology.
