WP2 Leader Dr Natalie Cernecka of IMT TeraLab will organise a session entitled "Breaking silos in data innovation in Europe: experiences of AI4EU, EUH4D, and DIH4AI" at Data Week 2021.
The Data Week is the spring gathering of the European Big Data and Data-Driven AI research and innovation community. The event follows the tradition of the Big Data Value Summit, promoting opportunities, facilitating knowledge sharing, and fostering Big Data and Data-Driven AI ecosystem development. The event will take place online from May 25-27.
The session is dedicated to breaking down silos in data and AI innovation in Europe, based on experiences of three flagship projects, AI4EU, DIH4AI, and EUH4D. The session will focus on two critical areas: technical (platforms, data, interoperability ...) and sustainability (future beyond the funding period).
The objective of the session is to share approaches, discuss best practices, and align future actions between the three projects, AI4EU, DIH4AI, and EUH4D. Also, this session could help other projects, such as ICT 48 and ICT 49, to envisage their contributions to ensure the data and AI ecosystem in Europe reaches its full potential.
The session will feature AI4EU partners including ATOS and KNO, among others.
