The lead experiment pillar of the AI4EU Platform Martin Welß has released two tutorial video clips guiding platform users to onboarding and publishing AI tools to the AI4EU Experiments and their associated catalogues.

Martin Welß is a Senior AI Solution Architect from Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems IAIS. Fraunhofer is the leader of WP3 – Management and Enrichment of the European AI On-Demand Platform (AI4EU).

The two clips are available on AI4EU YouTube channel for Platform users to access. The Community service section of the Platform welcomes feedback and inputs from users on how to improve the users’ experience.

Onboarding a tool to AI4EU Experiments

The first step to integrating an AI tool with AI4EU Experiments is to onboard it. Onboarding collects some of the most important properties of the tool like name, reference to the docker image, protobuf interface specification and license. After onboarding, the tool can be used in the visual design editor AcuCompose and shared privately with other users for teamwork.

Publishing a tool to the AI4EU Experiments Catalogue

After successfully onboarding a tool, it can be published to the AI4EU Experiments catalogue to be fully visible. There are several steps to take and information needs to be provided like documentation, authors, or publisher. Then the tool can be submitted to the review process for approval.
